The City of Stillwater encourages events and would like to help make them run smoothly. In doing so, these activities require permits to give City departments, commissions, or the City Council the opportunity to review the plans with an eye toward the goal of balance and safety.

Follow the steps below and view the documents for more information:

  1. Check the availability of dates to hold your event in the City of Stillwater before submitting your application.
  2. Review the new Event Policies and Fee Schedule. Please note that you must follow the State Electrical Requirements for portable or temporary power.
  3. Follow the Event Application Procedures to submit an event application.

Please visit our Liquor Licensing page for information on whether there will be alcohol at your event.

Please watch for application deadlines and don't forget to submit a site plan with your application. Missing information may cause the application to be late and impose a late application fee. Any questions when planning your event or completing the application, please call (651) 275-4102.
